The '24 Hour' Rule

The '24 Hour' Rule

The '24 Hour' rule is an approach that the Seckman Hockey Club Board STRONGLY recommends when a parent or player finds themselves frustrated with something that has happened at a game or practice, or any other team event.

If you are upset and have an issue with a Coach, Board member or even another parent.... please refrain from posting that frustration on social media, lamenting your feelings loudly and forcefully in a group setting, or even calling the parent, board member or Coach for 24 hours.

Allow 24 hours to pass to give yourself time to have calmed down and the ability to think clearly. If you still have an issue that you would like to discuss with the Coach, Board member or other parent.... contact the Coaching Director and he will facilitate a meeting and/or conversation for all sides to work through said issue.
